Very friendly service, great service, and a very good kitchen.

Nicely located, great place by the lake. But go to dinner? ... no thanks, not anymore. >>> O.K., instead of bringing a normal beer to a cyclist, it can happen. The waitress admitted the wrong order through her at the counter. Then ordered food according to the menu "Roast pork with dumplings" and asked for a salad instead of red cabbage. Roast pork came with "bread dumplings" ... When asked, the answer came: "Then he (cook) ran out of dumplings. The matter was appeased with the words" bread dumplings are good too ". OK, if you like it ... But that one might ask beforehand whether this change would be ok, they don't come up with this idea. The fact that, contrary to my order, I didn't get a salad but red cabbage, was because, according to the waitress, she had accessed the wrong thing was in the normal range, the portions of my companions were rather smaller. The many mistakes would then have only been an expresso value. I did without it, not that a tea would have come ... Addendum: If you have the answers to all negative Reads reviews, then the level of the restaurant management is reflected.

Service really nice. Eating a matter of taste. Pikeperch fillet with parsley potatoes very good. Vegetables not great.

The food and service were just a huge disappointment. The price-performance ratio wasn't right. Mediocre goulash with dumpling served carelessly. The sausage salad didn't work at all, in Bavaria you are used to something better. Last but not least, rarely experienced such an unfriendly waiter, that is not possible in service at all. PS: we adhered to all Corona rules at all times !! Definitely the last visit to you.

Unfortunately seldom eaten that bad. Each of the four of us was very disappointed. Just as an example, the schnitzel is tasteless, tough as the sole of a shoe and dripping with fat. Also the service was very unfriendly and seemed annoyed. When asked what would be included in the "Seehof Salat", the answer was a condescending and annoyed "Yes ... salad". Never again

Hats off for the performance of these people! In these times when people are still emerging, not everyone can be so friendly. If you have to whitewash people, that's a protection for both sides. Keep it up! Food is recommended.

We have heard a lot about Bavarian hospitality. It's a myth! Rudeness and insult, we saw that on the lake. We got kicked out if we were showing off in a car with a disabled child. There were about 10 cars in the parking lot at the inn, but we weren't even allowed to park for an hour. I asked about a permit but didn't get a clear answer. My child cannot walk, but the guest house staff recommended parking in Mittenwald, which is about 40 minutes away on foot and still laughed when I asked how I can bring my 8 year old child there with a wheelchair! Angry, indecent people! We drove almost two hours to the lake! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

The service was friendly and on the ball. Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. Roast and suckling pig cold, dumplings apparently out of the bag and everything a bit bland. We are actually used to better things in the Alpine region. It's a shame, because the location on the lake with the view is sensational and deserves a little more passion.

Beautiful place and totally nice staff! We went there 2 times last week and both the waiter and waitress were very very nice to us! You don't have an easy job right now with your mask in the sun, it's not easy. Hats off, you guys are great!

Unfriendly service (at least the waiter we had) we wanted to pay because it was said, you have come as a group, you pay as a group. You can work that out yourself. Receipts would be slapped and he was done. There is only one star for the restaurant. The lake and everything is beautiful.

Delicious traditional food and great beers, with one of the world's best views

The restaurant is near the lake and has a good view. The Wienn Schnitzel and Weisswurts were very good. We enjoyed it after hiking from Mittenwald to Stone Garden-Water fall, then the lake.

Basic food, nothing to look forward to. The terrace was 60% full but still we waited a very long time. We were not alone. The waiter did not stop a minute, though. Beautiful view.

We were doing a Trekking and we went through here to eat. Super recommended, delicious food. My Hähnchenschnitzel was super juicy and the vegetables delicious. The excellent attention and the unbeatable place. I was left wanting to try the kuchen, it will be for the next one.

An average German restaurant with great views. Our service was nice to start but then turned unfriendly as more people showed up. The salad and Bratkartoffeln were only ok. The bratwurst was delicious. Really this is just a nice convenient place to eat after hiking.

One of the hidden idyllic places that are too beautiful to be true. Many small hikes 30 min. to 2hs lead to the lake. The restaurant is known for its fresh fish and the great cakes.
